Most of you probably already know about the famous TM Bot which automates the playing of Travian for a hefty fee by having you install a Java program. This cheat will farm for you, build for you, and trade for you. All the top players are using it. TM Bot will make you a top ten player, right before you get banned for cheating at least.
This program gives the program author complete and total access to everything you do on your computer, including your Travian accounts and anything your parents might do on the computer. You have been warned.

I’ve posted before about how Travian Multihunter works, but here are some details from the Travian Multihunter prospective.
I’ve included a screen shot and some additional details about Travian Multihunters actually work as seen through the eyes of a Multihunter. Here is a short list of things I find particularly interesting:
- “The cookie ID tool should not be mentioned under any circumstances.”
- Multisearch checks for accounts that have duplicate passwords
- Logins and cookies” Travian keeps a browser ID cookie. Deleting it flags your account
- Does Travian know about Brute Force?
Yes, it does! Any IP may have 20 attempts in 10 minutes – 21 and it will be banned for 10 minutes from this account.
While we have all been frustrated by fighting multis in Travian, at least the Travian multi-hunters try. Stay tuned for how Travian multi-hunter catch bots, and how you as a player can as well.
Travian cheat “Crazyraid” was banned this week thanks to the vigilante effort by community member crowjd. Crazyraid has been a top 10 raider since the start of the comx round. It is commonly known that many of those who appear in the top 10 raid lists are in fact cheaters. But, Crazyraid was an obvious Travian cheat who played many accounts, and farmed himself for months on end.

Here at Travianguide we believe information should be free and open. Knowledge is power. If the game administrators think they can stop cheaters by closing threads, they are mistaken. The best way to stop people from abusing Travian to the point of ruin, is to have an open and honest discussion about cheating, methods to stop them, and then work to accomplish the most innovative solutions. Prepare to find out how Multihunter works, and how the cheaters evade them.

Have you too received messages like this from the Race winner? Knowing this sort of thing was highly illegal, I was shocked to find the winner of the race cheating! I mean who would have thought that SHS winning wonder could be a cheat… no really I am trying not to snicker about resource transfer scripts. If you receive messages like this from him, or anyone else DO NOT give them your password. They are attempting to steal your gold.
