Travian Guide was a spur of the moment project. I wrote the guides because I was unhappy with what I found in the Travian forums and knew I couldn’t get anything I wrote “stickied”. My guides have been found by over 100,000 Travian players in the past year alone. I’ll keep looking for new and interesting OSG sites to point you guys to. I just found a new game blog site called OSG. Oliver covers many popular OSG’s including Travian, Ikarium, and Evony. For those of you looking to stay up to date on Travian or looking to stay abreast of all the popular games, check out OSG here. Oliver’s latest article uncovers stolen art by the browser game king and conquer. He’s an active poster and fun to read. I hope he continues to unearth other browser games, because there are lots of little gems out there.

Travian is Overrun by cheats. The game isn’t free. You have to pay a ton of gold just to keep up with the cheaters. On top of that, once you get big, you have to play 12 hours a day just not to fall behind.

When your tired of the grind, try the most addicting, TOTALLY FREE,  game I have ever played. It’s a star wars based game that has always been free, they won’t ask you for a credit card, and they will never give any one advantages or gold. It’s called SWMUD. You can find it here. But, let me warn you. If you do try this game, you’ll spend so much of your free time playing it, you won’t have time for anything else.

Be prepared for PvP action called Player Killing (PK) that’s more in depth and challenging than any game you’ve ever played. This game will actually give you “the shakes”. If you give the game a try and want some special treatment, message a player named Bottler and tell him where you heard about SWMUD.

Travian Champions is a very active Travian website run by Randomgeek. RG covers a wide range of up to date Travian topics that I simply don’t have the patience to cover. While TravianGuide focuses on guides, strategy, and tools. Randomgeek is on the ground, getting interviews with the top players and keeping the community informed about the combat inside Travian as it happens.
