Travian Champions

Travian Champions is a very active Travian website run by Randomgeek. RG covers a wide range of up to date Travian topics that I simply don’t have the patience to cover. While TravianGuide focuses on guides, strategy, and tools. Randomgeek is on the ground, getting interviews with the top players and keeping the community informed about the combat inside Travian as it happens.

I asked Random Geek to send me a short synopsis of the best Travian Champions has to offer and here is what he sent me:

Of course we’d have to show off the Hall of Champions itself, so here’s the page I made for the winners of the recently completed Speed Server:

Here’s the link to the Hall of Fame page itself, it also shows the start date of all the Travian.com servers:

I’ve got a few posts I’m particularly fond of. A lot of people really liked the interview I did with the leader of the winning alliance from S5.com:

I post a lot of Battle Reports on my site, and this battle from S8.com is one of the biggest of all time:

And I also collect the victory speeches from the leaders of winning alliances. Here’s the victory Speech from the leader of the winning alliace from S3.com:

Thanks a lot for putting this up on your site! Much appreciated! I’m glad that you like what I’m doing on my site, I hope to keep it moving forward and maybe eventually make it into something bigger.

Travian Multihunter from the Inside

I’ve posted before about how Travian Multihunter works, but here are some details from the Travian Multihunter prospective.

I’ve included a screen shot and some additional details about Travian Multihunters actually work as seen through the eyes of a Multihunter. Here is a short list of things I find particularly interesting:

  1. “The cookie ID tool should not be mentioned under any circumstances.”
  2. Multisearch checks for accounts that have duplicate passwords
  3. Logins and cookies” Travian keeps a browser ID cookie. Deleting it flags your account
  4. Does Travian know about Brute Force?
Yes, it does! Any IP may have 20 attempts in 10 minutes – 21 and it will be banned for 10 minutes from this account.

multisearch

While we have all been frustrated by fighting multis in Travian, at least the Travian multi-hunters try. Stay tuned for how Travian multi-hunter catch bots, and how you as a player can as well.

A Farmers Guide

Tenants of Good Play

  • Read the guide about how to not be a farm.
  • Focus on farming all inactives in range twice a day
  • Never leave your army sitting at home, an army at home goes to waste.
  • Avoid fights with players who have army
  • Your goal is to only hit those who can’t defend themselves
  • Never listen to IGM’s from your farms because they are your resource fields. Don’t destroy them.
  • Use diplomacy to work towards joining a decent alliance. Once you are accepted a real alliance your empire becomes much stronger.
  • Remember, too many allies means less farms.
  • Your resources should never be empty while your at the computer, and your warehouse should never fill up while your away, if it does, make it bigger or play more often!
  • Raid non-stop, when your army is at home its being wasted. you should be trying to create a buffer zone around your capital making it difficult for anyone to invade your capital.

Travian Cheat Banned

Travian cheat “Crazyraid” was banned this week thanks to the vigilante effort by community member crowjd. Crazyraid has been a top 10 raider since the start of the comx round. It is commonly known that many of those who appear in the top 10 raid lists are in fact cheaters. But, Crazyraid was an obvious Travian cheat who played many accounts, and farmed himself for months on end.
