Travian Cheat Banned
Travian cheat “Crazyraid” was banned this week thanks to the vigilante effort by community member crowjd. Crazyraid has been a top 10 raider since the start of the comx round. It is commonly known that many of those who appear in the top 10 raid lists are in fact cheaters. But, Crazyraid was an obvious Travian cheat who played many accounts, and farmed himself for months on end.
Crazy was what’s known in Travian slang as a “simcity” player because he founded all of his villages outside the circle of most players. Out in the ‘boonies’ he can’t be touched by anyone, but can’t touch anyone else. However, he mysterously managed a top 10 raid spot week after week… bein hours from the closest farm. How did he do it? Take a look at the screen shot of his account, you’ll see that he surrounded by small time farms… Why would anyone found villages next to a top 10 raider?
The answer is simple: He made lots of accounts, and played them all himself which makes him one of many Travian cheats. He settled villages near his account using his access to other small time accounts. This allows him to get around the culture point barrier, and make towns at a much faster pace than anyone else.
He then fed on these accounts for months with no intervention from multihunter! Even though he was a top10 raider for months, week after week, and his profile is littered with metals he got from farming himself. No one seemed to care about this guy, until Crowjd took matters into his own hands and made a forum post calling him out.
It is interesting that multihunter did not ban all the other accounts he played and used as farms… Are multihunter lazy, stupid, or do they just not care if people cheat to the point of ruining the game? I’ll let you make the call on this one.
If you want to cheat and not get caught, just make sure you stay out of the top 10 raiders so your name doesn’t show up in the forums and you can farm yourself all game.
Update: Crazyraid was later unbanned and no statement was given as to why he was forgiven. Moral of the story? Even cheaters who are caught continue to play on comx. I guess that makes it open season. Of course rules are enforced to different degrees on different servers so make sure your familiar with the local laws before doing anything rash.
that guy should be ashamed of himself! especially when travian made a clear point ’bout ONE ACCOUNT PER SERVER!!!
I’m not one to fault someone if they make a second account because their first account is a farm. I think Travian rules are often far too strict. But, someone who makes tons of accounts and then obviously farms them like he did really ruins the spirit of the game for everyone.

oh yeah, wanna see real cheaters??? try .PH……..that bloody server doesn’t have a MH and almost all alliances encourage multi-accounts…it is even so easy to see…you get to see villages with the same name and players with the same name with just a little number at the end…

i am playing in s3 and with gaul tribe..and got medals for like 2 monts..and for the 1st place too…so it’s not that hard to get medals.
Does anyone actually believe the multihunters even attempt to stop cheaters? If anything, most MHs volunteer for the job to protect their friends that cheat. Travian basically caters to cheaters and most intelligent people figured this out long ago and either started cheating themselves or quit playing. Many players consider infiltrating the MH system to be just part of the game; like a more advanced version of placing spies in various alliances. Sometimes, cheating is so blatant that the MH has no choice but to ban a player, but even that only happens if someone turns the player in. Even then, sometimes the MH ignores it, as was the case with “Crazyraid.” Obviously he was a cheat, and he was turned in many times. However, MH didn’t feel a need to respond until the forum post exposed Travian’s pathetic attempt to stop cheaters.
The truth is, Travian doesn’t even attempt to catch most cheaters. Cheaters make up a sizeable percentage of dedicated players, and they ALL buy gold. Ultimately, that’s why Travian allows cheaters to keep playing…because they make a lot of money off of them. If you don’t believe in cheating, you should find another game. Travian is a haven for cheaters, and it is basically a waste of time for non-cheaters to play.
What I see here is a flat out bribe for the multihunters. “If the cheaters buy gold, just let them be!” Well, it’s one thing to cheat on a one-player game. On an mmorpg, or just a multiplayer game is destructive to the entire experience of the players who actually follow the rules. It would pay off for the multihunters if instead of promoting cheaters for big bucks, they should get rid of them, make them never come back, and then the free players would feel that they actually had a chance, and THEY would buy gold to make sure that they won fair and square. I’m in travian, but recently I’m just disappointed at these kinds of things. All of these tips and bits of imformation have really made me think about tribal wars-mainly for the fact that they don’t get all of those cheaters. I swear that in travian cheating is like a virus. You put a bit of it in, and then it goes and infects all of the others files! Crowjd, you actually were able to help travian for awhile, and I commend you. I just wish Crazyraid would’ve stayed banned..
i got caugth cheating and was allowed back on ten minuites later how ever ii had an account deleted because i ha dmultiple ones and lost half my population :( i do not buy gold
